MAD DOG FIELD HOCKEY CLINICS
Session II of Mad Dog Field Hockey Clinics

Advanced and Saturday, April 27th for
Coach Toni Vodola Bruno will host another 6 weeks of girls field hockey clinics - this time with a progressive skills focus. Week to week, players will endure a specific focus that they will master before moving on to the next week and the next key focus.
Week 1 Focus: PASSING - Players learn how to use various types of passing in game like situations. We will learn how to make effective passing decisions in the different zones throughout the field.
Week 2 Focus: DODGING - Learn dodging techniques in order to maintain possession and get around the defending opponents.
Week 3 Focus: SHOOTING - Our focus will be on taking shots inside the offensive circle and learn about the different angles.
Week 4 Focus: PRESSURE/COVER - Work on the defensive play of pressuring the ball, as well as covering the goal, in order to successfully and effectively gain possession of the ball.
Week 5 Focus: OFFENSIVE CIRCLE PLAY - Players will learn techniques and field positioning inside the offensive circle to maintain ball possession and create scoring opportunities off of the goalies pads.
Week 6 Focus: DEFENSIVE CIRCLE PLAY - Learn how to play organized and effective defensive play inside the circle. We will focus on using communication, timing and aggression in order to successfully get the ball out of the circle and up the field.
